This web page is designed for travellers and those with a penchant for the wild, exotic and unpredictable paths of South America. In January 1996 as part of a five month adventure in South America, I undertook a four day trek to Machu Picchu, the Inca citadel lost in the rain forests of Peru for over 400 years. The text and pictures below are my personal account of what was an incredible experience.
